Jim Morrison was a great man. He didn't care about what
others thought, but just went out and did what he thought will be the most
fun. Jim wasn't the drug adict and alcoholic people make him out to be. He
was actually a certified genius with a very impressive I Q . His contribution
to the world came not in the form of a science, but in the form of art....music,
the universal language. This site and the hundreds of other DOORS sites are
evidence proving Jim's lasting appeal and tremendous influence on people
both young and old. Jim's time was short, but he accomplished so much in
that time....and that was probably the best way. Jim died after going into
seclusion in Paris. He died of heart failure. It was probably due to heavy
drinking, people say it could have been a heroin overdose. Whatever it was,
Jim is still alive in the minds and hearts of his fans.
